LongCourseTAX
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

A clear process means fewer surprises for you and a better return.

Here's what a year with LongCourse Tax looks like.

  1. Introductory call (15 minutes, free)

We talk through your situation and what matters most to you. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

  2. Written engagement and quote

You'll receive an engagement letter that lists exactly what I'll prepare and the fee. Nothing starts until you sign.

  3. Secure document upload

You'll get your own portal for uploading documents, answering a short questionnaire and messaging me. Please don't email tax documents; the portal keeps your information encrypted.

  4. Preparation and review

I prepare your return and review it line by line, including reconciling stock compensation and comparing it with last year. If I have questions, I'll ask them all at once rather than in a trickle.

  5. Walkthrough and e-signature

We review the return together in a short call. You sign electronically, and I file.

  6. Looking ahead

You'll get a short note on what to watch next year: estimated payments, withholding, upcoming vests or required distributions.

Your information

I use an encrypted client portal, multi-factor sign-in on every account and a written security plan, as federal rules for tax preparers require. I never sell or share your information, and I use it only to prepare your return unless you give written consent.
