Frequently asked questions
- Do you work with clients outside the Bay Area?
- Yes. Everything happens online, so I can work with you wherever you live. I prepare California returns and returns for other states where you have income.
- Can you help if I get a letter from the IRS?
- I can review the notice and help you respond.
- Do you help with financial planning or investments?
- Not through LongCourse Tax. I'm happy to work alongside your financial planner, and I keep your return consistent with the plan you've made together.
- Is my information safe?
- Yes. Documents travel only through an encrypted portal, every account uses multi-factor sign-in, and I follow a written security plan.
- When should I reach out?
- Ideally between November and February. I take a limited number of new clients each season so every return gets full attention.
- How do I pay?
- By card or bank transfer through the client portal.
